Since about 11:00p Christmas 2005. Started the install about 2:00p that afternoon.
9845 hours across 4 accounts
365 (days) x 24 (hours) = 8760 hours in a year. WOW

19 February 2006 was the day I created my first character.
@OP - regretfully, there is no way to make a meaningful poll for this thread. You are only allowed five options.

April 28th 2005, 71 months, it was the very day that the game was released in Germany. I quit in late 2007 tho, I was in a Top 100 GvG guild and I just couldn't stand the constant pressure to perform well and make no mistakes and stuff. It really affected me in a negative way... Now, 3 and a half years later, I try to make a PvE comeback as a casual player, but so much has changed in this game, unbelievable.
Btw, since I started playing right on the day of the release, I should be among the first players ever to get a 6th year anniversary minipet. Do you know when exactly this will happen? Because for some reason, according to Guild Wars Wiki, the 3rd edition of minipets got available on April 25 2008 or so... That's strange, because apparently that was not exactly 3 years after the release, so how could there be any 3-year-old characters on April 25 already!? Don't want to highjack the thread here or go off topic, but that simply struck me while looking through the wiki...

Rolled my Ranger the evening of the day Prophecies went live.
Lots of other games along the way; no use in getting stale.
But after visiting foreign lands, I always return to GW my home.

Says 62 months
Funny I thought I got the game a few months after it came out but it would seem not.
As a matter of interest when was the actual release date and was this world wide or did the uk come in later than some other countries.

I started with the "E3 for Everyone" preview event in May 2004. Played during every preview and beta event after and then through release of the game. However over the years since then I've had various periods of being away from GW for months at time.

"You have played this character for 7,080 hours 40 minutes over the past 69 months.
Across all characters, you have played for 13,539 hours 2 minutes over the past 70
months."
There could be something to my wife's complaints that I'm getting lazy.
